No sound on Windows devices

Troubleshooting speaker problems.

If you cannot hear other participants at a Zoom conference, follow the steps below to correct the problem.

• Make sure the speaker is turned on. If a disabled speaker icon is displayed in the upper left corner, tap the icon to turn the speaker on.

• Increase the volume on your desktop device using the volume buttons or the notification panel. Even if the speaker is turned on in Zoom, the volume of the device can be set to mute.

• Try using headphones.

• Reboot the desktop device.

• Try reinstall Zoom from the Zoom Conference Start. (portable version)
